Edouard Duban is a Scotland-based entrepreneur whose career bridges two worlds: the fast-moving digital landscape of Paris and the timeless beauty of the Scottish Highlands.
In 2008, Edouard founded Alioze™, a strategic digital agency in Paris that quickly established itself as a trusted partner for ambitious brands. Over 15 years, Alioze™ has delivered branding, e-commerce, SEO, social media, and digital transformation for clients ranging from luxury houses to leading educational institutions.
Drawn to Scotland by its landscapes, its history, and its people, Edouard founded Confluens Limited in 2016, based in Ballachulish — at the historic confluence of Loch Leven and Loch Linnhe. What began with AOS SÍ Lodges, a boutique hospitality venture in Glencoe, has grown into a group encompassing heritage real estate (Confluens Estates) and AI research (sosies.ai).
Edouard's approach is distinctive: he brings the analytical rigour and creative ambition of the digital world to industries — hospitality and real estate — that are traditionally slow to change. The result is a group that honours the past while building for the future.
