Hospitality
The AOS SÍ
Family
Slow tourism, unreasonable hospitality, and deep connection with nature — in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Discover all our properties on aossi.scot.
A Different Kind of Welcome
AOS SÍ (pronounced “ees shee”) takes its name from the fairy folk of Gaelic mythology — the otherworldly beings said to dwell in the hills and ancient places of Scotland. Our properties share that sense of enchantment: places where time slows down, where the landscape does the talking, and where every detail is considered.
From octagonal lodges with panoramic mountain views to a 200-year-old stone cottage surrounded by protected woodland, each property in the AOS SÍ family tells its own story.
Octagonal Lodges & Spa
AOS SÍ Lodges
Six unique octagonal lodges and two spa lodges, set in the shadow of the Pap of Glencoe. Each lodge is designed to immerse guests in the surrounding landscape — panoramic windows, wood-burning stoves, and total tranquility.
Historic Crofter's Cottage · c.1800
Stone Cottage by AOS SÍ
A beautifully restored 1.5-storey crofter's cottage dating from around 1800, set on approximately one acre of SSSI-designated woodland in Ballachulish. Four bedrooms across two flexible configurations, blending Highland heritage with modern comfort.
St John's Old Rectory
3 Victorian Rooms
Three characterful rooms within the historic St John's Rectory in West Laroch, Ballachulish. The spiritual heart of Confluens, where the company was born.
Our Commitment
Old Stone, New Stories
We believe the best hospitality preserves what makes a place special. Our properties sit on conservation land, within protected woodlands, and alongside heritage buildings. We don't build over history — we restore it, and we share it with guests who appreciate the difference.
Stone Cottage stands on SSSI-designated land. The lodges are designed to leave a minimal footprint on the landscape. Land conservation and patrimony preservation are not afterthoughts — they are the foundation.
